Admittedly, it has been a very long time since my last post and I hear that some readers have been wondering if something is wrong. Fortunately, I can say that nothing is wrong. Quite the opposite actually. In the six or so months since my last post I have found myself able to do more and as a result, I have had less time on my hands to write.
Being busy has been good, really good. Since returning home from Australia, I have got back to driving, cycling, been discharged as an outpatient, moved to London and got a job. I can now finally say that I am independent. Something that I have desperately desired since it all started two years ago.
Although I am now posting much less on the blog, I continue to write a book which I hope to finish one day in the next couple of years.
I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to read my blogs. You readers have really helped to give me a purpose during these tough two years and for that, I am extremely grateful. This is unlikely to be my last post, but I would like to thank you anyway for your fantastic support.
Here are a couple photos from the last six months:
I continue to track my results on the rowing machine which are a fairly good indication of my rate of recovery. I have estimated 200 Watts to be the point at which I have fully recovered.
I keep several controls in place to try and make sure each reading is as accurate as possible. If you would like any more details, please use the contact section to message me and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
